Greystones Cottage is in Simonstone, which is a very small place near Hawes. It's a converted barn, which means the walls are thick. It's about 200 years old.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's 3 Star. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not modern or luxurious. There's no Wi-Fi in the cottage. Some of the pubs and cafes in the village have it if you need to get online.
The view from the front is the main thing. You look straight out at Stags Fell and the woods. There's a waterfall in the wood and a lot of bluebells in spring. You can walk from the door onto the footpaths straight away.
There's a hotel about 175 yards away that does meals. A pub is half a mile. For a shop, you need to go into Hawes, which is about two miles. Hawes has the usual things: a few shops, pubs, cafes, and the Wensleydale Cheese Visitor Centre.
You've got a small garden and patio area to yourself. Parking is right outside. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Useful links for planning: Yorkshire Dales National Park and English Heritage for places like Richmond Castle, which is about a 30 minute drive.
