Mystified Bungalow is in Newbiggin, up in North Yorkshire. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's handy if you don't want stairs. The front and back both look out over fields. The views are really good, no other houses in the way.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a four-poster bed, which looks straight out over the dale. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
There's a proper old pub about a mile and a half down the road. It's 17th century and does food and local ales. You can walk to it, but it's a country walk so you'll need a torch at night. The nearest shop or garage is about three miles away in West Burton.
You can just walk straight out from the door. Good for ramblers or cyclists. Leyburn and Hawes are a short drive and have all the shops and cafes you'd need. Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle are close by too. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has walking routes.
For the facilities: it's got parking, a garden with a patio and a BBQ, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
The owners sometimes offer a continental breakfast if you arrange it beforehand. You can have it inside or out on the patio where all the birds come to the feeders.
