This is Coach House Cottage in Buckden. It's a single-storey place in a quiet courtyard off the main street.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, the other has adult-sized bunk beds. There's one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. No steps to worry about inside.
You come in into the main room, which is all open plan. Kitchen at one end, dining table, and sitting area with a wood burner at the other. It's a simple, straightforward space. There's a TV and wi-fi.
The local pub is about a hundred yards away, just across the road. They do food. There's a shop about the same distance.
For walks, you're right in it. You can head up Buckden Pike from the village, or there are gentler riverside paths. You're in the Yorkshire Dales National Park here. Kettlewell is a couple of miles up the road with more pubs. Grassington is about ten miles, that's a busier village with shops and cafes. Hawes, where they make the cheese, is twelve miles. Skipton with the castle is under half an hour's drive.
There's parking right outside the cottage. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
