Holly Cottage
Holly Cottage is in Kettlewell, right in the middle of the village. It sleeps six, but it's split between the main cottage and an annexe across the road.
The main cottage has three floors. Downstairs is the living area with a wood burner. The stairs are steep, like most cottages round here. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double and a single, and a bathroom. There's a second bathroom on the ground floor.
The annexe is just over the road. It's a studio room with a big bed that can be split into two singles. It has its own small bathroom, a TV, a microwave and a little fridge. It's useful if someone wants a bit of space, or for older kids.
You're right in the village. The pub is about a two-minute walk. There's a village shop about five minutes away. The cottage has a small patio area out the back.
For walking, you step out the door and you're on the fells. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has good maps. Grassington is about ten minutes by car. Skipton, with the castle and train line, is about half an hour. Bolton Abbey is maybe twenty-five minutes.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, parking for one car, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog.
