Tophams Laithe
Tophams Laithe is in Conistone, a small village in Wharfedale. It's an old stone barn that's been converted. It sleeps three, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
The main living area is upstairs. There are wooden beams and the room looks out towards Kilnsey Crag. You get a good view of the dales from the window. There's an electric stove in the fireplace, a TV with Sky, some DVDs and board games.
Downstairs is the entrance, with space for boots and bikes. There's a drying room for wet coats, which is useful. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
There's a kingsize bed in the main bedroom, which looks out over the river. The second room has a small double bed, better for one adult or children.
The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The mirror has a shaving point.
You can walk straight out onto the Dales from the door. The Dales Way path runs on the hill above. The lane outside is part of the Tour de Yorkshire route if you cycle.
The Kilnsey Trout Farm is about half a mile away. They have a cafe and farm shop. There's a riding school next door. A local pub is also about half a mile walk. The nearest shop with a butcher is two miles away in Grassington.
Grassington is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper Dales town with shops, pubs and a small supermarket. Skipton, with its castle and market, is about a 25 minute drive.
You can bring one dog. There's parking on site. All bedding and towels are included.
