Poppy Cottage is in Hebden, in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a stone cottage on a quiet lane. You can hear the river from the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom with a shower downstairs. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are standard for a cottage like this, so they're a bit steep and narrow.
There's a good pub about five minutes' walk away. They do food. There's also a village tea room next to the playground. Grassington is under two miles away. It's a proper little town with shops and cafes.
You can walk straight from the door. The river path to Grassington is easy. For bigger walks, you're right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There's a locked shed if you bring bikes.
Inside, there's a wood burner. We leave you some logs to start. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included, and a cot and highchair if you need them.
Outside, there's a small patio at the back. There's also another little seating spot about fifty yards up the lane. It gets the sun in the evening and you can use a barbecue there.
By car, you're close to a lot. Bolton Abbey, Malham Cove, and Fountains Abbey are all within about half an hour. Skipton is about twenty minutes for the castle and market. Further on, Harrogate and Ilkley are maybe forty minutes.
You can park right outside. No pets, sorry.
