Rooftops is on a lane just off the main square in Grassington. It's a terraced cottage. You can see down over the village roofs and out to the fields from the front windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite shower rooms. That's quite handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a typical cottage style, so they turn and are a bit steep.
You're right in the village. The square is literally a minute's walk. There are a couple of pubs that do food, some tea rooms, and a few small shops. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website is good for walking routes. You can start a walk from the door, straight down to the river or up onto the moor.
Skipton is about a 15 minute drive. It's a proper market town with a castle, a high street, and the canal. You can get boat trips there. For a longer day out, Malham Cove and its limestone pavement is roughly half an hour away. The National Trust has a few properties in the area, like Brimham Rocks, which is also about 30 minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. The garden is out the back, it's a nice spot. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you need it. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're a bigger group, the cottage next door, Rose Cottage, can sometimes be booked together with this one.
