Rooftops
Rooftops is in Grassington village. It's right on the main square, so you're in the middle of things. The cottage looks out over the roofs towards the hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite, so a bathroom each. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are steep, as you'd expect.
You've got a small garden at the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We don't allow pets.
Everything in the village is on your doorstep. There are a few good pubs that do food, some nice little shops, and a couple of cafes. The Yorkshire Dales National Park authority site is useful for walking maps and ideas.
You can start walks right from the door. The river and the hills are there. For a longer drive, Skipton is about twenty minutes away. It's a proper market town with a castle and the canal. Skipton Castle is worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
