Churchill House
Churchill House is in Grassington, right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's on a little street just off the main square, so it's quiet but you're in the middle of everything.
It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's been done up nicely inside.
The front door opens straight onto the pavement. The back has a small, private patio with a table and chairs. It gets the sun.
A shop, a couple of cafes, and a few pubs are about a hundred yards away. You don't need the car. The pubs serve food. Grassington gets busy in summer with walkers and there's an arts festival. In December, they do a Dickensian weekend with people in costume.
For walking, you just step out the door. You're on the edge of the moors. The town of Skipton is about a twenty minute drive. It's got a castle, a market, and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove for the evenings, which works well. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The WiFi is fine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the driveway.
