Monkey Cottage
Monkey Cottage is in Grassington. It’s a semi-detached cottage just off the high street.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. There's a wood burner in the living room. The stairs are quite steep, typical for a cottage here.
You can leave the car because everything's a short walk. There are pubs, a shop, and a restaurant about five minutes away. You can walk straight from the door up onto the moors for the views. Or you can take a gentler stroll along the river.
It's in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Skipton is about a fifteen minute drive. They call it the gateway to the Dales. There's a castle, shops, and you can get trips on the canal.
You can drive to Studley Royal, which is National Trust, in under half an hour. York is about an hour away if you fancied a day trip.
Facilities: it's got the wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You're allowed one well-behaved dog.
