Garsdale Cottage
Garsdale Cottage is in Grassington. It's a short walk from the village centre, maybe five minutes. The cottage is set back from the road next to our house and another holiday let. You get your own space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. It's not a show home. The garden at the back is yours to use. It's got a simple patio with a table and looks out over fields. It's a quiet spot.
You can walk to a couple of pubs and some cafes from the cottage. They're about 400 yards away. Grassington gets busy, especially when they have the festivals on, like the Dickensian one at Christmas. The village is a good base for walking. You can start right from the doorstep.
Skipton is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper market town with a castle, Skipton Castle, and a canal. The market is good on the right days.
For longer days out, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are within half an hour's drive. Harrogate and the Brontë Parsonage in Haworth are also about that distance if you fancy something different.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
