Garsdale Cottage is in Grassington, North Yorkshire. It's at the back of a little row with our house and one other holiday let. You get the cottage and the patio garden to yourselves. The garden looks out over fields, which is nice.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, but don't expect anything fancy. Everything works.
The cottage is about a five-minute walk from the village centre. There's a few pubs and places to eat there. Something for most tastes.
You can walk straight from the door. The river Wharfe is down the lane. For bigger walks, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Yorkshire Dales National Park has all the maps and routes.
Skipton is about a 15-minute drive. It's a proper market town with a castle, a big market, and the canal. Useful for supermarkets and things if you need them.
Grassington does a Dickensian festival in December which is quite popular. In the summer there's an arts festival. The village gets busy for those.
Facilities: there's a wood burner, TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. You can bring up to two dogs.
