Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Grassington, on a street just off the main square. It's a small stone cottage.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable.
The staircase is narrow and steep. It's a proper old cottage staircase, behind a door. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
Grassington is a good spot. You can walk to the pubs and shops in a couple of minutes. The main square has cafes and a few local shops. There's a Co-op for groceries.
You can walk straight from the door. The river and the Dales are right there. For longer routes, the Dales Way passes close by. It's good walking country.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Skipton, with its castle and market. Bolton Abbey estate is about 20 minutes away for a longer walk. The drive up to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar is worth it for the scenery.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. The garden has furniture. Parking is on the street outside the cottage.
