Stables End is in Conistone, North Yorkshire. It's a one-bedroom cottage attached to a horse trekking centre. It sleeps two people.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's recently been renovated. It's open plan downstairs, with the kitchen and living area together. There's a wood burner. Upstairs is the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The bed can be either two singles or a double.
It's on the edge of the trekking centre grounds, so you'll see horses. There's private parking for two cars on site. There's a small private courtyard with some outdoor furniture.
We accept up to two dogs. You've got WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
The village is quiet most of the time. There's a good pub in Conistone, about a five-minute walk. Kilnsey is a short drive away and has a pub and a shop.
You're right in Wharfedale, so the walking is the main thing. The Dales Way passes close by. You can walk up to the famous Kilnsey Crag from here. For a day out, Grassington is about ten minutes by car. It's a proper Dales village with shops and cafes.
If you want to explore further, Skipton is about twenty-five minutes drive. Bolton Abbey Estate is about twenty minutes. The whole of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is on your doorstep.
