Fell View

This is Fell View. It's one of a small row of cottages on the edge of Kettlewell, up in the Yorkshire Dales. The view out the front is exactly what it says: a good, long look down the valley.

It's a 4 Star cottage. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, with a shower over the bath. It's comfortable and clean, not a show home. Everything works.

The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you've got a dog or small children. There's a patio area with a table and a barbecue. You can park right outside.

Inside, there's a wood-burning stove for the colder months. We leave you some logs to get started. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

You're right in Kettlewell village. It's quiet up here, but you can walk to three different pubs in about five minutes, all of which do food. There's a village shop for basics.

You don't really need to drive to go walking. You can step out the door and be on the footpaths straight away. For a wider choice of shops and cafes, Grassington is about a ten minute drive. Skipton, with its castle and market, is about twenty five minutes.

If the weather's bad, there's a leisure centre at Long Ashes, near Threshfield, which has a swimming pool. It's about a fifteen minute drive.

You're in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so it's all about the outdoors. Useful links for planning: Yorkshire Dales National Park and National Trust Yorkshire.

One dog is welcome. Please just keep it off the furniture.
