Fell View is in Kettlewell. It's a proper old Yorkshire stone cottage, one of a row on the edge of the village. You can see the fells from the front windows, hence the name.
It sleeps six across three bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not particularly modern. The walls are thick stone, so it's cool in summer. You'll want the wood burner going in winter. There's a small enclosed garden out the back with a bench and a BBQ.
Kettlewell has three pubs, all within a five minute walk. They all serve food. The village shop is useful for basics. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Grassington, which is about ten minutes away. They've got a Co-op, cafes, and individual shops. Grassington has a festival in summer and does a Dickensian thing at Christmas.
You can walk straight from the door onto the fells. The footpaths are right there. For a day out, Skipton is about a twenty minute drive. It's a market town with a castle, the canal, and plenty of shops. If you want a swim or a spa, the Long Ashes leisure club is a short drive away.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for one car on the drive. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate. No pets, I'm afraid.
