Calton Cottage
Calton Cottage is in Kettlewell, right in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a cottage from the 1600s. It sits next to the stream you can hear from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. It's a Three Star place, which is correct. It's comfortable and clean but not at all fancy. The space inside is bigger than it looks from the street.
The shops, pubs, and a couple of places to eat are about a minute's walk away. You don't need to drive once you're here. The village is good for walkers. You can pick up footpaths right from the doorstep. There's riding and fishing nearby if you want it.
If you do drive out, Grassington is about ten minutes away. Skipton, with its castle and market, is about twenty. You're well placed for Malham Cove and Gordale Scar.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and internet. Bedding is included. There's a parking space. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
