Calton Cottage
Calton Cottage is in Kettlewell. It's in the middle of the village, right by the stream. It's an old cottage, 17th century, but it's been done up inside so it's not dark or cramped. It feels more spacious than you might think.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. The walls are thick and the floors are a bit uneven in places, like you'd expect.
You can walk to everything in the village. The shop is about a minute away. There are a couple of pubs that do food. It's a proper walking area. You can start a walk from the door.
If you want to drive out, Grassington is about ten minutes away. Skipton, with the castle, is about half an hour. The whole of the Yorkshire Dales is right there. You can get to Malham Cove and its limestone pavement in under half an hour.
The cottage has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding is included. There's WiFi and a TV. You can bring one dog.
