Littondale

This place is called Littondale. It's in Litton, up in North Yorkshire. It's a proper detached house on its own.

It sleeps 14 people. Six bedrooms, six bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. That's handy with a big group. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and functional, not a luxury boutique.

The house sits on its own in the valley. The views out of the windows are fields and fells. In spring, the riverbank gets covered in wild flowers. You can just walk out the door and onto the footpaths.

There's a patio and garden with a barbecue. Parking is on site. Inside, there's WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.

The local pub is about half a mile away. For a shop or a proper restaurant, you're looking at about eight miles, so you'll want to drive. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website is good for walking routes.

You can fish locally if that's your thing. For a day out, Malham Cove and the limestone pavement are about a 20-minute drive. Skipton, the gateway to the Dales, is about 30 minutes away.

We accept one dog. They need to stay off the furniture and you have to clean up after them.
