Woods Barn is in Beckermonds, which is basically a tiny hamlet in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's just a handful of houses. You're right at the start of the River Wharfe here, where two streams meet.
It's a detached barn conversion. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. Has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The garden is enclosed, faces west so it gets the evening sun, and you can bring up to two dogs.
There's little to no phone signal, but there is WiFi. You've got a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking right there. Bedding and towels are included.
You're out in the middle of it all. You'll see red squirrels. The walking from the door is the main thing. There are three good pubs you can do a circular walk to, all within about five miles. The nearest one is four miles away.
Hawes is about seven miles for a proper shop, cafes, and the Wensleydale Creamery. For a wider day out, you're within half an hour of places like Aysgarth Falls, Malham Cove, and the Settle-Carlisle railway line.
If you're here to fish, there's private fly fishing arranged nearby.
