Woods Barn is in Beckermonds, which is a tiny hamlet in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a proper detached stone barn conversion. There are only a few houses here, so it's quiet. The River Wharfe starts just outside the front door.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped but not luxurious. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. The garden is enclosed and catches the evening sun.
You're in the middle of the National Park. The walking from the door is excellent. There's private fishing on the beck nearby if you arrange it in advance. You might see red squirrels.
There are three good pubs within about five miles walking distance. You could do a circular walk and visit them all. The market town of Hawes is about seven miles away. It has shops, a bank, cafes, and the Wensleydale creamery.
Facilities include a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
