Dale House
This is Dale House in Kettlewell. It's a big old Victorian place. It used to be a hotel. It sleeps eighteen people quite easily.
There are eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, so you won't be queuing. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with its own bathroom, which is handy. The beds are a mix of doubles, family rooms and singles.
Downstairs, the kitchen is big and has what you need. There's a dining area. The living room has an open fire. There's also a games room with one of those multi-game tables for pool or table tennis, and a TV area with a PlayStation.
Outside, there's a laundry room and a locked shed for bikes. You can park on site.
It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not fancy, but it's solid. It works for large groups.
Kettlewell village is right outside. You can walk to the shop, the pub, the tea rooms. They're all five minutes away. The house is opposite the river, so you've got those views. You can start walks straight from the door.
You're right in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For days out, Malham Cove is about a fifteen minute drive. The market towns of Skipton and Grassington are close by. If you want to go further, the coast at Scarborough or the city of York are about an hour and a half.
Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, cot, highchair. The bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The main entrance has step-free access.
