The Chapel
The Chapel is in Kilnsey. It's a one bedroom place that sleeps two. It's the converted chapel next to our house. You get the whole place and garden to yourselves. It's a four star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It's a Grade II listed building, so the walls are thick and the windows are the original chapel windows. They're tall and let in a good amount of light. The main room is all open plan. The stairs to the bedroom are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
It's a good spot for walking. You can join the Dales Way path from here to walk to Grassington or Kettlewell. Kilnsey Crag is right there if you're a climber. The local pub is a few minutes walk away.
Grassington is about four miles away. It's got shops, cafes, and a few pubs. They have festivals sometimes, like the Grassington Festival in summer. Kettlewell is in the other direction, about three miles.
You're in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park here. For planning walks or visits, the National Trust and English Heritage sites are useful. Malham Cove and Janet's Foss are about a twenty minute drive. Skipton is maybe twenty-five minutes by car.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
