The Chapel is in Kilnsey, in the Yorkshire Dales. It's just a stone's throw from our house but it's completely yours while you're here. It's an old chapel, so the ceilings are high and the windows are big. You get a good view of the crag and the fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's old though, so mind your head on the beams upstairs. The stairs are fine.
You can walk straight out the door onto the Dales Way. Kilnsey Crag is right there if you climb. You can see it from the garden. There's a pub a few minutes walk away. The nearest shop is about three miles away in Kettlewell or Grassington.
Grassington is about a ten minute drive. It's got cafes and pubs and a few shops. The festivals there are good if your dates line up, but it's a nice place to wander anyway. Kettlewell is the other way and is a bit smaller.
You're right in the National Park. For planning, the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority site is useful. Also National Trust Yorkshire for nearby places like Malham.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and wifi. The garden is enclosed. There's parking. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included.
