Pennypot Cottage
Pennypot Cottage is in Kettlewell, in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a stone-built terrace cottage, right in the village.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One has a standard double bed; the other one has a zip-and-link bed, so you can have it as either twin singles or a king-size. There's one bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The living room has a woodburning stove and a TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. You have a small garden out the back with a patio. It's not huge, but it's a nice spot if the sun's out. The stairs are fairly steep, as you'd expect.
We take one well-behaved dog. There's on-site parking for one car, which is handy in the village. Bedding and towels are included. We've put in a stairgate and can provide a cot if you need them.
Kettlewell has a couple of good pubs that do food, a village shop, and a little play park. You're right on the footpaths. You can walk up to the tops straight from the door.
For days out, Grassington is about ten minutes' drive. It's a bigger village with more shops and cafes. Yorkshire Dales National Park has all the walking route information. Within half an hour you can drive to places like Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey, or the Stump Cross Caverns.
