Kelvin House
Kelvin House is an apartment in Grassington. It's part of a big old Georgian building on the main street. You get dedicated parking for two cars, which is handy because parking in the village can be tight.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. There are a lot of original beams, which look nice but mind your head. The ceilings are lower in some places. The stairs are fine.
There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well. We leave some logs for you to start with.
You're right in the middle of Grassington. The shop, pubs, and cafes are about a minute's walk. You can hear the street from the front rooms, but it's quiet at night. There's a small private patio out the back.
For walks, you can step out the door and be on the footpaths. There's a shared garage on site if you bring bikes. Grassington is a good spot for the Dales. Yorkshire Dales National Park has all the maps and routes.
If you drive, Malham Cove is about 20 minutes away. Bolton Abbey is about half an hour. The Stump Cross Caverns are 15 minutes up the road.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. The TV has satellite. Bedding is included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We ask that they stay off the furniture.
