Clematis Cottage
Clematis Cottage is in Burnsall, on the edge of the village green. It's a stone cottage, double-fronted. Sleeps five, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. No pets, sorry.
The stairs are steep. They're fine if you take your time, but they are steep. There's a woodburner, which works well. The garden is at the back, enclosed, with a patio area.
The village pub is about a minute's walk away, the Red Lion. It's old and does food. There's a restaurant just a bit further on. The river is at the bottom of the green, good for a paddle if it's warm.
For walking, you're right on the Dalesway. You can walk to Grassington along the river, which takes a couple of hours. The stepping stones are there if you fancy it. It's proper walking country.
Grassington is about three miles. It's got shops and cafes. Skipton is ten miles for a bigger market town, with a castle and the canal. Harrogate is about half an hour by car if you want more shops.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street outside the cottage.
