Arthur Bear
This one is called Arthur Bear. It's part of a group of cottages called Keld Houses in North Yorkshire, up in Nidderdale.
It's a one-bedroom apartment for two people. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. It's all on the ground floor. There’s parking right outside the door, which is level, so it's accessible if you have mobility issues. The bathroom is a wet room.
Inside, it's a straightforward open-plan space. There's a kitchen area, a table to eat at, and a sitting area with a wood burner. The bedroom has a kingsize bed. All the bedding and towels are included. You get WiFi and a TV. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside, there's a small private patio with a table and chairs. The views are over the owner's land and the moors beyond. It's quiet.
You're about a mile from Pateley Bridge. It's a nice little walk down into the town if you fancy it, where there are shops, cafes, and a few pubs. For bigger shops, Ripon is about a twenty-minute drive and Harrogate is about half an hour.
You're right on the edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and not far from the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Good walking from the door. Fountains Abbey is about twenty minutes away by car, and the Brimham Rocks are even closer.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There are a couple of other similar properties next door, which can be booked together if you're coming with another couple.
