Nidd Cottage

Nidd Cottage is in Pateley Bridge at the top end of Nidderdale. It's a terraced cottage, right on the high street. There's no private parking, but you can park on the street nearby or use the public car park which is a two minute walk away.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are steep, as they tend to be in these old cottages. The back garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. We take one pet.

Pateley Bridge itself has a nice high street with a butcher, a baker, and a few pubs. The Oldest Sweet Shop is there, as the name suggests. There's a chippy and a couple of places for a coffee.

You're right in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk straight from the door up the dale or onto the moors. The Yorkshire Dales National Park boundary is about a fifteen minute drive west.

For a day out, Harrogate is about half an hour's drive south. York is an hour away. Skipton with its castle is about forty minutes. If you're walking, Malham Cove and Tarn are roughly forty minutes by car.

In the cottage there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's local fishing on the River Nidd.
