The Old Clockmakers

The Old Clockmakers is a one-bedroom flat for two people on the High Street in Pateley Bridge. It's on the first floor, so there's a flight of stairs up to the door.

The flat's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The bedroom has a double bed. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.

You're right in the middle of the town. The front windows look out over the street. There's a shop, a few places to eat, and a couple of pubs literally 50 yards from the front door. The Nidderdale Museum is just down the road if you're interested in local history.

For facilities, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's no private parking, but there's a public car park a couple of minutes' walk away.

Pateley Bridge is in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a good base for the Yorkshire Dales. You can walk right from the doorstep along the river or pick up the Nidderdale Way.

If you drive, Brimham Rocks run by the National Trust is about 20 minutes away. Harrogate is half an hour, Ripon about 15 minutes. Fountains Abbey is a 20 minute drive. The Yorkshire Dales National Park authority site has walking routes and information.
