Crossgates is a bungalow near Pateley Bridge, in Smelthouses. It's one of two converted farm buildings up here, semi-detached from its neighbour Fellbeck. You're right on the edge of the moors.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The layout is all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's comfortably furnished and has central heating. There's a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
You've got a small patio garden. There's a pub about half a mile walk away. The nearest shop is in Pateley Bridge, three miles down the road.
For walking, you can just step out onto the moors. Brimham Rocks is about a ten minute drive. It's a National Trust site full of those strange rock formations. Good for a clamber or just a look. National Trust Brimham Rocks.
Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are maybe twenty minutes away by car. Ripon is about the same, it's a small cathedral city with a market. Harrogate, which is a bit fancier with its spas, is within half an hour.
