Claro Cottage

Claro Cottage is in Pateley Bridge, right off the High Street in a little courtyard. It's a stone-built cottage, one of three around the same yard. There's a bit of a shared outside seating area, but it's quiet.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, both with double beds. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, with exposed beams and stone walls on the ground floor.

The living space is open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

You can bring up to two dogs. The courtyard is enclosed, but it's not a massive private garden.

You're about a minute's walk from the High Street. There are pubs, cafes, and shops there. The River Nidd runs through the town, so you can start a walk right from the doorstep.

You're in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For proper days out, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are about a 20-minute drive. Brimham Rocks are about 10 minutes away. Both are National Trust. Ripon is 11 miles away, and Harrogate is about half an hour by car.
