Heather Lea
Heather Lea is on Stockton Road, just outside Summerbridge. It's a detached house. You get good views over the fields from the front.
It sleeps up to eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, so a decent amount of space for a few families. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well set up. The stairs are fine.
The house is right next to Bank Woods, which is ancient woodland and a nature reserve. You have access to it from the garden. It's part of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so if you like walking you're set.
The nearest shop and pub is about a mile away in Summerbridge. Pateley Bridge is four miles. That's a proper little market town with a few shops, pubs and tea rooms.
Harrogate is about twelve miles. You've got the Turkish Baths there if you want a spa day, and all the usual shops. York is just over half an hour's drive if you fancy a day out seeing the Minster and the Shambles.
Fountains Abbey is very close. It's a National Trust site and a ruin, really impressive. It's about a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities: it's got a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, all bedding and towels are included. There's parking for three cars on the drive. There's an electric vehicle charger. There's a wet room on the ground floor which is handy. No pets allowed.
