Lavender Cottage is in Bewerley, basically at the top end of Pateley Bridge. You can walk into the town in five minutes.
It's an old weaver's cottage, so it's 18th century and fairly small. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The front looks out over the village green. There's a little patio there that catches the sun. Parking is round the back.
Pateley Bridge has everything you need: shops, pubs, a couple of restaurants, a good butchers. The Nidderdale Museum is there if you're interested in local history.
For days out, you're well placed. Fountains Abbey is about twenty minutes drive. It's National Trust. Brimham Rocks is similar, great for kids to climb on.
Harrogate is half an hour away for proper shopping or Bettys Tea Rooms. Grassington and Skipton are within easy reach too.
You get a washer, WiFi, TV, and bedding is included. The garden is yours to use. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
