This is Tom's Barn. It's in Hole Bottom, which is a quiet spot in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The barn is detached, so it's on its own. You're up on a bit of a hill.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom's downstairs. The living room is upstairs because that's where the best views are. You look out over the valley towards the moors. The beams inside are proper old cruck beams. The stairs are a typical barn conversion staircase, so they're a bit open-tread and steep. There's a stairgate at the top.
There's a pub about half a mile down the lane. For a shop or more places to eat, you'd drive into Grassington. That's about three miles. It's a busy little village with good pubs. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has walking routes. You can walk straight out from the barn.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio area with a barbecue. It leads onto a bit of woodland next to the property. It's full of bluebells in the spring.
If you want to go further out, Harrogate is about half an hour by car. York is a bit over an hour's drive. Both are easy for a day trip.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. We leave a cot and a highchair there if you need them.
