Temple House is in West Burton village in Wensleydale. It's a big stone holiday house, not a cottage. It sleeps eight.
The house is a 5 Star property. That means it's finished to a high standard. It's very spacious. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms, which is unusual. One bedroom and shower room is on the ground floor.
You get the whole garden. It's enclosed and private. There's a patio with a pergola and a barbecue.
The kitchen is large and has a SMEG electric range cooker. There's a seating area in there with folding doors to the garden. The utility room has a washing machine and a coffee machine. There are two living areas, both with wood burners and Smart TVs.
Upstairs, three of the bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a zip-and-link bed, so it can be a super king or twins. The other two are a king and twins. There are two more shower rooms on that floor.
Another flight of stairs goes up to a top floor. This is a galleried space with a desk and printer. It leads to the main bathroom, which has a slipper bath under the eaves. The ceiling is vaulted but low in places. You go down two steps into the room.
The village green is 250 yards away. There's a village shop, a butcher, a tearoom, and a pub that does food. Aysgarth Falls are about a mile away. It's a famous set of waterfalls on the River Ure. The Forbidden Corner, which is a strange sort of garden maze, is under five miles. The market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are both within ten miles. Hawes is where the Wensleydale Creamery is.
Facilities include bedding and towels, a highchair and cot, WiFi, and parking on site. There's an electric vehicle charger.
