Huxley's Cottage is in Sedgeford, which is a village inland from the north Norfolk coast. It's an old brick and flint cottage that we've just finished refurbishing. It's got a five star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The stairs are standard for a cottage.
The back garden is enclosed, so it's secure for dogs. The listing says you can bring up to three pets.
You can walk to the village pub. The coast at Heacham or Old Hunstanton is about a ten minute drive. Hunstanton town has a sandy beach, a sea life centre, and the usual seaside things.
If you drive east along the coast road, you'll get to places like Brancaster, Holkham, and Wells-next-the-Sea. Wells has a nice quay and a long beach with painted huts. You can catch the electric bus from the town to the sand.
For walking, you can get onto the Norfolk Coast Path from here. For local wildlife and estates, the National Trust pages are useful. Visit Norfolk has general information.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
