Sandpiper Cottage
Sandpiper Cottage is in Heacham, Norfolk. It's one of a row of red brick cottages. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-fitted and comfortable. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow, just so you know.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. There's a woodburning stove in the living room for cooler evenings. The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Heacham beach is about a mile and a quarter away. It's a sandy beach with dunes. It's a good, straightforward beach for walking or swimming.
If you want to explore, the coast east from here is full of different bits. There are marshes and creeks and little harbours. The RSPB reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham are nearby if you like birdwatching.
For history, you've got Castle Rising and Castle Acre within half an hour. Sandringham Estate is about fifteen minutes by car. Kings Lynn is about a twenty minute drive, it's got the old Hanseatic quarter.
The cottage allows up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
