Ashby House is in Docking, Norfolk. It's a sort of new-build cottage style, detached. Sleeps six, three bedrooms. It's got one upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a separate downstairs toilet as well, which is handy.
It's a four-star place. That means it's all been done up to a good standard. Everything's clean and works. The kitchen is pretty new and has all the stuff you'd need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too.
The main living area is open plan, with the kitchen at one end and sofas at the other. The doors at the back fold right open if it's warm. There's a smaller, separate sitting room at the front too, with another telly. The garden is a patio area, not huge, but it's sunny and looks out over fields. Parking for two cars on the drive.
You can have up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a travel cot and a highchair if you need them.
The village has a shop for basics and a couple of pubs that do food. The coast is about a 15 minute drive. Brancaster and Holkham are the big sandy beaches nearby. Wells-next-the-Sea is good for a wander around the harbour and getting fish and chips. Hunstanton is a more traditional seaside town, about 25 minutes away.
For longer walks, the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path are right there. If you're interested in the area, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline and stately homes nearby, like Blickling Hall. The Visit Norfolk site is useful for planning.
