Clematis Cottage
Clematis Cottage is in Brancaster Staithe. It's a brick and flint cottage. It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
From the back bedroom you can see the sea across the marsh. The front has a walled garden, so there's a bit of space from the road. The back garden is enclosed.
The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steep and narrow. There's an open fire in the sitting room. The heating is from an air source pump, so it stays warm and doesn't use oil or gas.
You're about a ten minute walk from the beach at Brancaster. It's a good sandy beach. The local pub is about the same distance. The village has a shop that sells local fish.
For birdwatching, the RSPB reserve at Titchwell Marsh is very close. You can get boat trips out to Scolt Head Island from the staithe.
Within half an hour you can get to Holkham Hall and beach. Or to Hunstanton for the Sea Life Centre and a more traditional seaside day. Wells-next-the-Sea with its quay is about nine miles away. The Sandringham Estate is also within easy reach.
The cottage has all the basics: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There's a highchair and stairgate if you need them.
