Trebellan is a lodge at the Towan Valley Resort in Porthtowan. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's included, bedding, towels, that sort of thing.
It's an eco-friendly build. Feels modern and clean inside. There's a private garden with a hot tub under a pergola. That's a nice spot in the evening.
The main thing is it's less than half a mile from Porthtowan beach. That's a Blue Flag beach, good for families and surfers. You can walk it in about ten minutes. There's a village shop, a post office, a chippy, a café and a pub all close by. They're handy.
St Agnes is about four miles away. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Great for coastal walks. Chapel Porth and Trevaunance Cove are good beaches over that way. The whole area is the old mining landscape, if that's of interest.
For a bigger day out, Newquay is roughly half an hour's drive. Truro, the county town, is about the same. You can find details on the National Trust Cornwall page for walks and properties.
Facilities wise, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Parking is on site. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The stairs inside are a standard flight, not steep. Everything works and is straightforward. That's about it.
