Gwennel Nook is in St Agnes. It's a studio cottage for two people. There's one main room with the bed and sofa, and a separate kitchen. The bathroom is off the main room.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not fancy. There's a big step up to get into the property from the alley, so keep that in mind if you have trouble with steps.
It's on the edge of a field, so it feels quiet and open. You can see the sea from the kitchen window. The TV is on a wheeled stand so you can move it around.
You're about a ten minute walk from the village centre. There are a couple of pubs, shops, and pasty shops there. For the beach, Trevaunance Cove is the closest, maybe a fifteen minute walk downhill. Chapel Porth and Porthtowan aren't much further by car.
The coast path is right there. You can walk north to St Agnes Head and the old Wheal Coates mine, or south towards Chapel Porth. The walking is good, but it's hilly.
You can drive to Perranporth in about ten minutes for a long sandy beach. Truro is about half an hour if you need a bigger supermarket or the cathedral.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a patio with a BBQ, parking for one car, and bedding is provided. You can bring one dog.
