Sycamore Cottage

A lovely, comfortable, country village property for up to four guests set in Harome, just outside the fantastic market town of Helmsley. This is the perfect place to stay for exploring the local area, however if you want to go further afield to continue your adventures, there are many superb places very close by to do so. There is plenty for you to explore, from the stunning North York Moors which is full of fantastic scenic walks and bike trails, to the very popular Rievaulx Abbey. The nearby market town of Helmsley is a lovely place to spend time with its numerous bistro cafés, restaurants and independent shops as well as the historic Helmsley Castle, beautiful Helmsley Walled Gardens and National Birds of Prey Centre at the Duncombe Park -just some of the places to visit within a short 10-minute drive.
Other attractions such as the stunning Castle Howard and its grounds, Nunnington Hall, the famous Pickering Steam Railway and the spectacular Sutton Bank are all no more than a short 20-minute drive away. Flamingo Land theme park and the Edem Camp Modern History Museum around a 30-minute drive. Further afield historic York or the great Yorkshire Coast, with Scarborough and Whitby, is also within driving distance, all around a 50-minute drive from Harome.
The property is well catered for couples or families. It offers two good sized bedrooms, one double and one small ¾ double. The kitchen is well equipped for your culinary needs, which also boasts a nice seating area for breakfast. The living room is a very comfortable space which offers a lovely wood burner, views into the garden.
