Weavers View is on the top floor of a house in Hayfield. It's a one-bedroom flat. You get a bedroom, bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a kitchen-living area all in one room. It's a second-floor walk-up, so there are a couple of flights of stairs to get there.
The main thing is the view from the living room window. You look out over the village roofs towards the hills. You can see the church. On a clear day you can see for miles.
There's a small, shared garden at the back you can use. It's got a bench. Hayfield itself has a few pubs you can walk to. The Royal is about five minutes away and does good food.
If you're here to walk, you're in the right place. You can start walks right from the door. Kinder Scout is straight up from the village. The National Trust Peak District page has good maps. For a slightly easier walk, the Goyt Valley is a short drive.
Buxton is about 20 minutes by car. Glossop is about 15 minutes. Castleton, for the caves, is maybe 30 minutes. If you want a bigger town, Manchester is under an hour's drive, but the traffic can be bad.
In the flat there's Wi-Fi, a TV, and all the bedding and towels are provided. The kitchen has what you need for simple meals. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
It sleeps two. No pets. The stairs mean it might not suit everyone. If you're coming with another couple, there's another cottage next door you can book at the same time.
