Morlais

Morlais is in Criccieth, on the high street. It's a terraced cottage. You get a small walled garden at the back, which is quiet.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. It's got everything you need but it's not luxurious. The stairs are a bit steep.

The front room looks out over the street to the sea. The kitchen is at the back and has the same view. You can see the castle from some of the windows.

The beach is a five minute walk down the hill. There are a couple of decent pubs and a few cafes and shops on the same street. The castle is about a ten minute walk. It's worth it for the view.

Porthmadog is ten minutes by car. That's where you can get the Ffestiniog Railway into the mountains. Portmeirion is about twenty minutes away if you want to see that. The Llyn Peninsula is right there for coastal walks. For more organised walks or park information, Snowdonia National Park has good details.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the street. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
