Daflod is a detached cottage, just outside Chwilog in North Wales. It's for two people.
The main thing is the view. You look out west over Cardigan Bay. You can see the sea and the hills from the garden and from the front rooms. It's quiet out here. Just fields.
Inside, it's all one room downstairs: kitchen, sitting area, dining table. It's a modern space. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Upstairs is one bedroom with a very large bed. It can be two singles if you need it. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The garden is private. There's an electric car charger and parking next to the cottage.
The cottage has a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and everything is in good order. It's comfortable.
You can bring two dogs. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Location wise, you're a couple of miles from the coast. Criccieth is about ten minutes by car. It has a beach and a castle. Pwllheli is a similar distance the other way, with a marina and more beaches. For a day out, Portmeirion is strange and interesting. It's about fifteen minutes away.
Snowdonia National Park starts about a twenty-minute drive inland. Abersoch, for sailing, is maybe twenty-five minutes around the coast.
If you're planning trips, the Visit Wales site is useful. For the national park, check Snowdonia National Park Authority.
That's about it. It's a good spot for a quiet week, for two people and their dogs.
