Maes Teg is near Abererch, on the Llyn Peninsula. It's a modern bungalow, so everything's on one level except a twin bedroom which is down a few steps. You get the field to yourself, really. The view is the main thing. You walk in and the whole wall is glass, looking straight out over the fields to Cardigan Bay and the mountains.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two are king size, one is a twin. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's very light and open.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or children. You can park right next to the house. It has underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler days.
Abererch Beach is a few minutes' walk down the lane. It's a long, sandy beach. Pwllheli is about three miles away for shops. There's a local pub within walking distance too.
For days out, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. National Trust Snowdonia has good information. The whole peninsula is good for walking and beaches. Portmeirion is about half an hour's drive. Criccieth Castle is closer.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
