Ty'r Glyn

Ty'r Glyn is in Llanbedrog. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours through the walls. There's a garden and parking.

The place sleeps up to seven. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so that's useful. As per the rating, it's comfortable but not modern luxury. There's a balcony off one of the bedrooms that looks over the grass. You do see squirrels.

The style inside is a bit old-fashioned. Lots of patterns. The kitchen is newer and it opens into the living room, so everyone can be together.

You can walk to the beach from here, it's only a few minutes down the lane. The village shop is about five minutes away, they have a bakery and basics. There's a pub nearby too, with a beer garden.

A walk up the headland is worth it for the view. You can see the Tin Man statue up there and look out across the bay. The Wales Coast Path runs through if you want a longer walk.

Abersoch is under three miles away, Pwllheli is about four. There are plenty of beaches. Morfa Nefyn has a pub right on the sand. For activities, Glasfryn Park has go-karts and bowling, about a 20-minute drive.

For a quieter day, you're not far from the National Trust Llŷn coastline. Portmeirion is about half an hour's drive. So is Harlech Castle.

In terms of facilities, it has the washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. The parking has an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
