Riffli is in Cilan, which is a couple of miles outside Abersoch. It's a converted old farmhouse, and there's a smaller attached cottage that comes with it if you've got a bigger group. You're down a private lane, so it's quiet.
It sleeps seven, across four bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not a show home. The main room has a wood burning stove.
The view is the main thing. You look out over fields towards the sea. There's a footpath from the property that goes all the way down to the beach. It's about a twenty minute walk.
Abersoch is two miles away. It's a proper seaside place with shops, pubs, and a sandy beach that's good for surfing. You can get boat trips from the harbour. The nearest pub serving food is about a mile and a half away.
For a day out, you can drive into Snowdonia. It takes about half an hour to get to the edge of the national park. There are a few castles nearby too, like Criccieth. The Welsh Highland Railway is about a 40 minute drive if you like steam trains.
Facilities: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking for a couple of cars. We provide bedding. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed, sorry.
