This is Goleufryn. It's our place just outside Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula. It's actually three buildings grouped around a garden. It sleeps eighteen, so it's for a big group.
The main house sleeps ten. It's got a big living room and a dining room so everyone can eat together. The Barn sleeps four and has its own kitchenette. The Annexe sleeps another four and has a games room with a pool table.
The location is quiet, which is the main thing. You get a view of the sea from the garden, but it's a distant one. You can walk into Abersoch from the door. It's about half a mile. The village has shops, pubs and places to eat.
The beaches are close. Warren is the long sandy one, good for families. Porth Ceiriad is sandy too, with cliffs. The surfers go to Hell's Mouth, which is about a ten minute drive.
Things you should know: It's a 4 Star rating. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We allow one dog. The WiFi works, but it's a rural connection. The garden is shared between the three buildings.
If you want to go further out, you're in a good spot for it. The National Trust beach at Llanbedrog is a few miles away. Portmeirion, the Italianate village, is about half an hour's drive. Caernarfon Castle is roughly forty minutes. Snowdonia is within an hour.
