Goleufryn is on the edge of Abersoch. It's quiet. You can see a bit of the sea in the distance.
It's not one building, it's three. They're grouped around a garden. The main house sleeps ten. There's a barn that sleeps four and an annexe that also sleeps four. So, eighteen in total. Seven bedrooms and four bathrooms between them.
The Annexe has a games room with a pool table. The main house has a big living and dining area where everyone can sit together. Each place has its own kitchen or kitchenette. There are wood burners in the living rooms. The garden has a patio and a BBQ.
It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for a few cars.
You can have up to four dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You can walk into Abersoch from here. It's about half a mile. The village has shops, a few pubs, and places to eat. The nearest beach is about a mile away. There are a few to choose from: Warren Beach is long and sandy, Porth Bach is smaller. For surf, you'd go to Hell's Mouth, which is about a ten minute drive.
Abersoch is big for sailing. For a good beach day, the National Trust beach at Llanbedrog is lovely, about ten minutes by car.
If you want to explore, Portmeirion is a half hour drive. Caernarfon Castle is about forty minutes. You can get into Snowdonia National Park in under thirty minutes. The Welsh Highland Railway starts in Porthmadog, which is twenty-five minutes away.
