The Cottage

The Cottage is a large, warm and welcoming holiday home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms set in the coastal town of West Wittering. It offers great family holiday accommodation with a downstairs bedroom and wet room. On the ground floor is spacious living room which offers comfortable sofas and a cosy wood burner at the centre. The dining room has a large table, perfect for family gatherings with seating for up to ten. The kitchen has everything you could need, with an additional dining area - perfect for keeping the chef company. The separate utility room houses a washing machine. Also on this floor is a double bedroom and a shower room. On the first floor are three bedrooms; two double and a queen with an en-suite shower. There is a family bathroom on this floor, with a shower cubicle and roll-top bath. The extensive established garden is a delight, and perfect for relaxing on a balmy summer’s eve. There is lots to keep the children entertained with a trampoline and tree swing.
The Cottage is situated just 300 yards from West Wittering beach, a beautiful stretch of sand offering stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. At the end of the beach are the wonderful sand dunes of East Head, a National Trust site. The area is internationally recognised for its wildlife birds and unique beauty. Chichester, 10 miles north of West Wittering, is the beautiful cathedral city for Sussex and one of the great well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK.
There are plenty of shops and restaurants, and the Chichester Festival Theatre is worth booking. The cinema complex to the south of the city also makes for an enjoyable evening out. Visit Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its plethora of wildlife. The harbour is made up of a series of tidal creeks and Bosham is probably the best known of the quayside villages. The Goodwood Estate is half an hours’ drive, where you can enjoy premier motorsport events as well as Glorious Goodwood racing festival.
