Church Cottage
Close to the beach and train station, Church Cottage lies in a perfectly peaceful location. The entrance hall leads to the dining room and kitchen ahead and to a comfortable and cosy sitting room on the right. The dining room is a light bright room and a door leads through to the well-equipped kitchen. At the rear of the house is the family bathroom. Upstairs are two large bedrooms; the master with kingsize bed leads via a Jack and Jill toilet to a twin. Outside. the pretty rear courtyard garden offers a table and chairs and a sun lounger for lazing by the flower borders. Victoria Park is also just up the road a lovely grassy space and kids play area. Church Cottage is also ideal for corporate stays and short lets being close to the commercial centre of Worthing an easy stroll to the train station and less than a mile to Worthing hospital.
This lovely stretch of Sussex coastline features a long tree-lined promenade Worthing Pier Lido and WOW which has fantastic long range views along the Sussex Coast and to the South Downs. For other recreation ideas, Splashpoint Leisure Centre is a short drive and has fantastic swimming facilities for adults and kids alike. Worthing theatres offer a wide variety of shows at a number of venues including the iconic Pavilion Theatre on the pier. A little further afield there is a huge variety in every direction.
The historic and picturesque town of Arundel is only a few miles to the west and with the quaint streets, castle, cathedral and Arundel Wildfowl and Wetland Nature Reserve, you will never be lost for a great day out. Heading east will bring you to the vibrant city of Brighton where the i360, The Lanes and a cornucopia of colour await. Driving north leads you straight into the Downs; head to Cissbury Ring a little over 3 miles away for great panoramic views over Sussex. Or simply stroll south through Worthing town and enjoy the beach life. For some classically British pastimes and events the famous Goodwood Estate near Chichester offers a range of activities including a championship golf course the motor circuit racecourse and aerodrome. All offer an exciting calendar of events throughout the year, with particular mention of course to the Festival of Speed, the Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood.
