Aldwick Scandi Retreat
With parking and your own private access to the lodge, Aldwick Scandi Retreat offers open plan living/dining/sleeping accommodation with a separate shower room and its own private sauna – perfect after completing a couple of lengths in the outdoor unheated swimming pool, or a day out exploring the local area.
The stylish kitchen has everything you need including a fridge, microwave oven, hob and coffee machine with pods provided. There is luxurious kingsize bed with top quality linen, a small dining area and a comfy sofa and TV with Sky and Netflix, looking out to the beautiful garden and pool.
Positioned in the pretty village of Aldwick, the property lies close to both Chichester and Bognor Regis . If you like sea air, it’s just a 10-minute stroll to the quiet beach with a sloping bank of pebbles that gives way to flat sand when it is low tide. You are also just a 15-minute walk to the start of the 3-mile promenade at Bognor, lined with colourful beach huts and a coffee stop, and you can walk all the way to Middleton on Sea.
The coastline between Aldwick Bay and Bosham is a haven for unusual birds and wildlife with Pagham village and Harbour Nature Reserve or Chichester Harbour a little further to the west, both being Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pagham Harbour is an internationally important site for nature conservation while Chichester Harbour also combines its wildlife attractions with sailing centres such as Itchenor and Bosham.
The cathedral city of Chichester is only 4. 6 miles away and Chichester centre is a joy to explore on foot. It is a cosmopolitan, vibrant and friendly city proudly combining two thousand years of heritage with a lively lifestyle. Chichester Festival Theatre is well worth a visit, famous for its quality of theatre productions, many of which premiere here before moving on to the London scene. Just beyond Chichester is the famous Goodwood Estate which offers a range of activities including a championship golf course, the motor circuit racecourse, and aerodrome, all offering an exciting calendar of events throughout the year.
