Sand Dunes is set on a quiet private road in the centre of the village of West Wittering, with private parking for one vehicle. The property has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you would need for a very comfortable stay and cooking up a delicious meal after a day out exploring the area. To the rear of the house there is a lovely sitting/dining room with lots of cosy seating for you relax on after a busy day at the beach, plus a large dining table perfect for the whole family. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one double, one twin and a single with the family shower room on this floor. At the rear of the property there is a lovely private patio garden with outdoor seating - perfect for alfresco dining on a summers evening.
West Wittering beach is a beautiful stretch of sand offering stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The sea is popular with wind and kite surfers, while shallow lagoons are left on extensive sandy flats at low tide. The area is internationally recognised for its wildlife birds and unique beauty. Chichester, ten miles north of West Wittering, is the beautiful cathedral city for Sussex and one of the great well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK. The city centre is neatly enclosed within the ancient city walls making Chichester compact and pleasant to explore on foot. There are plenty of shops and restaurants and the Chichester Festival Theatre is worth booking. The cinema complex to the south of the city also makes for an enjoyable evening out. Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival Weekend, Fontwell Races, Weald and Downland Open Air Museum and Arundel with its historic castle, cathedral and wildfowl and wetland nature reserve are all close by. There are easy road links to many other sightseeing areas such as Portsmouth with Spinnaker Tower, the historic ships of Mary Rose and Nelson’s Victory and Gunwharf Quay, with its waterside dining and designer shopping outlets.
