Welcome to Horizon House, the perfect house for all the family to enjoy and explore the Isle of Wight; this contemporary holiday home has the accommodation arranged over four floors, with balconies overlooking the sea and views afar. The views across the English Channel are fantastic all year round. On the ground floor you will find three bedrooms, two with king-size beds, Smart TVs and en-suite to bedroom three, the fifth bedroom is offered as a twin but can be made into a kingsize bed. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath. Walking up the stairs to the first floor is where you will find the large open-plan living space with far stretching views from the living room. The dining room is well placed with a large table for all the family to enjoy a meal, in the kitchen there is a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas hob, the breakfast bar is fantastic for a morning coffee.
Outside the patio doors is the large balcony where furniture is provided for the beautiful summer evenings to relax after a day on the beach or out exploring the many local attractions. On the second floor are a further two bedrooms, both with en-suites and balconies. The lower ground floor gives access to the rear with parking for two vehicles and the artificial lawn area. The local town of Sandown has a wealth of fantastic activities for all the family from days on the beach or venturing more inland there is something for everyone.
For the walkers in us there is plenty of coastal paths to take in the breathtaking views which the Isle of Wight has to offer. However, if you are looking to enjoy the sun the sandy beaches are perfect for you all to enjoy, the children and adults can enjoy plenty of watersports activities or a relaxing day on the beach with an ice-cream. There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages on this beautiful sunny island.
The Needles landmark attraction is a must see, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Why not pay a visit to Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and Gardens, or perhaps Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK? Whatever you decide, one thing is for sure, the island has plenty to offer to make your holiday a memorable one. The nearest ferry terminal is Fishbourne which is a 25 minute drive away, it is Yes, the holiday starts as soon as you step on the Ferry.
