Kelly’s Lodge is just perfect for that well deserved break, relax on the raised deck with the bubbling hot tub all ready and waiting for you to relax and unwind on this country park. With some lovely modern touches throughout Kelly’s Lodge is a great space for up to 6 people, located overlooking the gentle stream on this peaceful park with an onsite bar/café/restaurant. The Lodge is a great space to spend time together with friends or family, located just off the main A1 with fantastic access in all directions for exploring the abundance of visitor attractions throughout Northumberland. Morpeth is only a few miles, a pretty historic market town with riverboats, plenty of bars, cafes and a lovely Edwardian Shopping Arcade. The heritage coast is easily reached from here with miles of golden sandy beaches to explore, peppered with castles and historic sites. Head further south and you can travel to Tynemouth and Whitley Bay two lovely areas with a promenade stretching all the way along with lots of places to eat and stop for ice creams. Perhaps travel west and go over to Hadrian’s Wall countryside and see some of the Roman Wall. Nearby Felton has a wonderful award winning pub and café popular with the locals. Nearby the Northumberland Zoo is popular with the children. Out and about is a lovely way to fill your days in the friendly county where you are sure of a real warm “Geordie” welcome. Alnwick castle is only a few miles, famous for Harry Potter scenes and you may even catch a broomstick lesson! The coastline has plenty of seaside villages and towns to visit so every day you can visit somewhere different, come back and relax on your wonderful decked area, have a dip in the hot tub or simply sit back and enjoy the peace. Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 24 yrds.
